About Us

Established in 1968 in the heart of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, LALA ENTERPRISES and HEMKUNT SALES & SERVICES have grown from a modest operation into a trusted name in the automotive and engineering sectors. 

Our journey began with a focus on overhauling TATA diesel engines, which laid the foundation for our reputation in quality and reliability. As we expanded, our expertise and commitment to excellence were recognized through our ability to correctly and efficiently utilize parts from industry leaders. This recognition further solidified our standing in the market, allowing us to maintain high standards and build long-lasting relationships with our clients. 

In 1990, recognizing the need for broader reach, we relocated our headquarters to Jammu while maintaining our strong presence in Srinagar. This move enabled us to serve a larger clientele and diversify our operations. Under the leadership of Mr. Kamal Kant Gohil we expanded our business under the banners of LALA ENTERPRISES and HEMKUNT SALES & SERVICES. 

His vision led us to secure prestigious dealerships, including ZF WABCO (formerly Sundaram Clayton), ZF Steering Gear (India) Ltd., and Holset Turbochargers. Our relentless pursuit of growth continued in 2010 when we expanded our product portfolio and service capabilities with the inclusion of Garrett Motion Technologies India Pvt Ltd. Recognizing the importance of comprehensive automotive services, we established a Tata Authorized Service Station in Jammu, ensuring our customers receive top-notch maintenance and support. 

A year later, we collaborated with Cummins, which enabled us to establish the Cummins Component Centre in Jammu and Kashmir, further diversifying our offerings and strengthening our market position. 

Additionally, we launched the ZF RANE Service Centre in our Srinagar branch, operating under the name LALA BASHIR and Sons, to provide specialized services and support to our valued customers. Over the decades, our dedication to quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency has driven our success and longevity in the industry. 

Today, LALA ENTERPRISES and HEMKUNT SALES & SERVICES stand as pillars of excellence in the automotive and engineering sectors, committed to delivering superior products and services to our clients across Jammu & Kashmir.
